happy together

I've noticed that I tend to take video of my kids when they're doing something new or out of the ordinary. That's great, but I want to remember the day-to-day stuff too. Here's a one-minute video of Nate and Dexter just doing their thing today. I am so thankful that my boys love each other.

Your kids are so ridiculously adorable! Priceless. :-)

They're so cute. And you are so WISE to capture video of them doing regular things. It's great how they ignore the camera. As soon as I get out a camera, my boys stop doing whatever it was that they were doing and instead make strange faces/sounds/motions.

Quick question - What's with Nate and the basket in scene two?

thanks deb & carissa! :) @C - we keep a basket of small board books in the bathroom b/c we are potty training Dexter and so we spend a lot of time in there... anyway, on the video all the books have already been strewn around the bathroom and nate is just playing w/ the basket. :)

So sweet! I came to the same realization with journal writing once. I always post big triumphs and the decisions I can't stop thinking about, and finally realized it would be nice to look back one day and just see what any old Tuesday might have looked like back then. I mean, I suppose some day it will be hard to remember what it was really like having little boys at our feet all day. :)
